Two further people have been arrested as part of a murder inquiry into the death of a 20-year-old man in Rotherham.

Mackenzie Ball, who was a passenger in a Land Rover Discovery, died after the car collided with a Subaru Forester in Morthen Road, Wickersley, on Sunday.

South Yorkshire Police said two boys, both 17, were held on Thursday on suspicion of murder and causing death by dangerous driving.

Both have been released on bail, the force said, with a total of six arrests during the investigation so far.

Earlier this week, two men aged 18 and 20 were also arrested on suspicion of murder and causing death by dangerous driving.

They have since been released on bail.

A 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and causing death by dangerous driving was also bailed by police.

A 21-year-old man, who was previously arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, has been released with no further action taken.
