A couple who have sold generations of families school uniforms are celebrating the 30th anniversary of opening their shop.

Owned by Tracey and Martin Bunn, both 58, Kids Klobber has been selling school wear and equipment from its Endless Street premises in Salisbury since 1994.

Open seven days a week during their summer peak season, Mr Bunn said: "We've served three generations of some families.

"We still enjoy meeting the children and making sure they have everything they need."

Starting out on a market stall, Mr Bunn said he first sold clothes for children and babies in 1987, before deciding to "take a risk" and open a shop as well.

Ms Bunn took on the responsibility of looking after the shop, which has since expanded twice, while Mr Bunn continued to sell on the market.

He eventually shut the market stall in 2012, something Mr Bunn said he was "very glad to give up" just so he could "come into the warm".

He told BBC Radio Wiltshire: "It takes five minutes to open up the shop. Lights on, heating on, kettle on, unlock the door."

"Much better than setting up in the markets, which took an hour-and-a- half in all weathers."

During the school summer holidays, the couple said they start work at 05:00 BST and can work 15 to 16 hours a day.

Ms Bunn said: "We see the same faces come in at the last minute every year, luckily we can measure most children by eye and very rarely need our tape measures."
