Body found in Norfolk river

A body of a man was found by emergency services searching a river in Norfolk.

The discovery was made at about 18:15 BST in the River Great Ouse in King's Lynn.

While formal identification has yet to take place, the family of 70-year-old John Thurston, who was reported missing in the town on Friday, have been informed.

Norfolk Police said the death is not believed to be suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
