Man arrested after 48 weapons seized in raid

A man has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill after police discovered 48 weapons during a raid.
Police raided a property in Winson Green, Birmingham, after a man reported being threatened with a knife.
Officers found several imitation firearms and a number of blades.
A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill, possession of an imitation firearm and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.

He remained in custody while the investigation continued, West Midlands Police said.
The force added it was committed to taking weapons off the streets and arresting those believed to be involved in violent crime.
