A tree blown down in Storm Darragh is blocking a railway line in Nottinghamshire and affecting train services.

East Midlands Railway said on Sunday the tree had fallen on the line in the Lowdham area.

The rail operator said there were delays to services between Nottingham and Newark Castle as a result.

Arrangements have been made for bus replacement services and travel with other train operators, and passengers delayed by 15 minutes or more can claim compensation, external.
