A section of the A3 near Milford and the Hindhead Tunnel which was closed due to a traffic light fault has now reopened.
Specialist service providers have now repaired the defect that led to the southbound closure between the A283 and the A333.
National Highways said the tunnel, which was also closed, has also reopened.
The closure was first reported just after 02:00 GMT on Thursday. Any residual delays on the approach are now clear.
Traffic is being taken off at the junction before the tunnel, at Thursley
