- Published
An ashes pendant believed to be of sentimental value has been found in a Surrey high street.
On Wednesday the item was handed in to police in Epsom, and officers are hoping to locate the owner.
A social media post by Epsom and Ewell Beat said the red glass pendant was picked up in the High Street.
It said: "We are hoping to reunite this sentimental piece of jewellery with the rightful owner this side of Christmas."
The pendant can be collected from the police front counter at Epsom Town Hall.
Whoever collects it will need to provide details of the inscription on the back of the pendant, police said.
