Two roads have been closed after a three-car collision that required the attendance of an air ambulance.

Luton Road and Woodside Road in Caddington, near Luton, were shut at about 07:45 GMT.

Bedfordshire Police said "a number of people" were taken to hospital after the collision.

"The road is likely to remain closed for some time and drivers are asked to take an alternative route," a spokesman said.
