A man arrested on suspicion of a woman's murder has been bailed pending further inquiries, police have said.
Lincolnshire Police officers were called to a property in Beck Gardens, Grantham, at about 16:45 BST on Friday, and discovered a fatally injured woman who has now been named as 54-year-old Tracie Guy.
Detectives said the suspect, 42, had been re-called to prison.
Det Ch Insp Claire Rimmer said: "Our thoughts are very much with the family at this difficult time. We are grateful for the support of the local community as we complete our investigation into the circumstances that surround this sad death."
Det Ch Insp Rimmer added: "I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Beck Gardens between 16:20 and 17:00 on Friday 10 October.
"I would also ask that anyone who has recorded doorbell footage, CCTV and dashcam footage gets in touch; it may have captured useful evidence."
