Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused to a golf course in Surrey, police have said.

Two people were allegedly seen riding dirt bikes at the Walton Heath Golf Club in Tadworth at about 15:30 BST on Saturday.

It is believed that the pair, who are described as white men, had been driving near The Sportsman in Mogador Road shortly before, police added.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has footage is urged to contact the force.
