Two more people have been charged with the murder of a 16-year-old boy near Stockwell station.

Lathaniel Burrell was shot dead in Paradise Road on 4 March in what police described as an "enormously shocking incident".

Jeffery Frimpong, 30, of Stockwell, and a boy, 17, who cannot be named due to his age, are due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court. The teenager has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Another 17-year-old boy appeared at Bromley Youth Court on 12 March charged with murder and Omar Prempeh, 32, of Forest Hill, appeared at the Old Bailey on the same day charged with the same offence. Both are due to appear at the Old Bailey on 29 May.

Det Ch Insp Sarah Lee said: "These charges mark a significant milestone in the investigation.

"We continue to appeal for witnesses and for those with knowledge of this incident to come forward.

"Please be reassured that we will continue to investigate this matter and ensure that all offenders are brought to justice."
