Group attack left man with fractured ribs and hand

A man was left with fractured ribs and a broken hand following an attack involving 20 to 30 people.
The incident took place in the courtyard of the Orchard Shopping Centre in Taunton at around 19:20 GMT on 19 October, Avon and Somerset Police said.
The man in his 60s was taken to hospital but has since returned home.
Following the altercation police said the group also threw chairs and signs at the Little Italy restaurant in the shopping centre, breaking a window.
Extra patrols have been carried out since the incident and officers have been conducting CCTV enquiries in the area.
