Folk singer Kate Rusby and guitarist Richard Thompson are among the headline acts for this year's Warwick Folk Festival, organisers have confirmed.

The annual event, now in its 45th year, takes place at Castle Park in Warwick from 24 to 27 July.

Other acts leading the 2025 line-up include folk singer Martin Simpson and band Lu Vent du Nord, as well as musicians Fara, Melrose Quartet and Ellie Gowers.

Dick Dixon, festival director, said the event would also include workshops and jam sessions alongside live performances.

"We've lined up unforgettable headliners, as well as a treasure trove of talent across the whole festival weekend," Mr Dixon said.

"Warwick Folk Festival is renowned for being a very friendly, relaxed, and chilled-out event in a stunning location."

Events will also be held in the centre of Warwick to celebrate folk music, which include dance displays, open-air concerts and gigs in local pubs, a festival spokesperson added.
