Seven more people have been charged following violence in Hull earlier this month.

Missiles were thrown at police officers, shops were looted and a hotel housing asylum seekers was targeted during the unrest in the Ferensway, Jameson Street and Spring Bank areas on 3 August.

All seven people have been charged with violent disorder.

One man has also been charged with racially/religiously aggravated criminal damage and attempted arson.

Who are the people charged?

  • David Wilkinson, 48, of Lorraine Street, Hull - charged with violent disorder, racially/religiously aggravated criminal damage and attempted arson

  • Steven Love, 41, of Middleton Street, Hull - charged with violent disorder

  • Michael Campbell, 56, of Icelandic Close, Hull - charged with violent disorder

  • Jordan Murray, 26, of Grasby Road, Hull - charged with violent disorder, possession of class B drugs and two counts of burglary

  • Julianne Kay, 47, of Lorraine Street, Hull - charged with violent disorder

  • John Nunan, 36, of Hermes Close, Hull - charged with violent disorder

  • Travis Whitelock, 23, of Brisbane Street, Hull - charged with violent disorder

Humberside Police have continued to appeal for information, dashcam or mobile footage relating to the trouble.
