A man was seriously injured when an unoccupied single-decker coach rolled back and hit him, police have said.

It happened at the bus station in Ormskirk at about 11:45 BST on Thursday, Lancashire Police said.

The man, who is in his 20s, suffered internal and pelvic injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

The force has appealed for any witnesses to come forward and has asked for any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage.
