Two men responsible for a 'targeted' acid attack are believed to be hiding from police in Wiltshire.
The suspects forced their way into a property on Lipson Road in Plymouth, Devon, at around 03:55 GMT on Friday and threw acid over the occupant.
The male victim remains in hospital in a serious condition. The suspects are both described as being black males in their early 20s, wearing all black clothing.
Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing to people in the Grittleton area of Wiltshire to check their CCTV, doorbell footage and dash-cams.
It is believed they were in and around the Grittleton area, close to the M4, on Friday morning.
Officers are particularly interested in identifying and speaking to a driver who is believed to have given the two suspects a lift.
The incident was being treated as an isolated and "targeted attack", police added.
Anybody with information is asked to call Devon and Cornwall Police on 101.
