Homes evacuated after 'potential explosives' found

Homes were evacuated earlier after "potential" explosives were found in a house during a police search.
Officers attended a property on Burman Road in Wath-upon-Dearne at about 09:00 BST on on Thursday.
The items, believed to have been firework components, were destroyed in a controlled explosion by the Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, South Yorkshire Police said.
About 20 properties were evacuated "as a precaution" but people have since been allowed back into their homes.
