A man has been seriously injured in an incident involving a crane at a dock in Cornwall, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to Penzance Dry Dock shortly before 10:00 GMT on Thursday.

A force spokesperson said: "One man has been airlifted to hospital with a serious injury."

The Health and Safety Executive had been informed, police added.
