Bin collections as normal over bank holidays

Household waste and recycling collections will take place as normal in Guernsey over the May Bank Holiday and Liberation Day weekends, the States has said.

Households unsure of their bin night or which materials to put out can check their collection here, external.

The household waste and recycling centre will be closed on both bank holidays.

The household green waste site at Mont Cuet will be open from 10:00 to 16:00 BST on Bank Holiday and closed on Liberation Day on 9 May, which commemorates the liberation of Guernsey on 9 May 1945.
