Biker taken to hospital following crash on A96

An 18-year-old motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a car on the A96 near Auldearn.

Emergency services were called to Wester Hardmuir at about 14:40 on Thursday.

The man was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment.

No-one else was injured.

Meanwhile, the A96 has been closed again following another crash.

The collision happened at about 08:45 at Newton of Petty east of Inverness.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area.
