A digital consultancy firm is to create 100 new jobs over three years by opening a head office in Birmingham.

A spokesperson for TXP said moving to Fort Dunlop, Erdington, would allow them to double their headcount.

The firm launched as a rebranded organisation in May, combining Solihull digital services provider Jumar and Dudley-based IT resourcing firm Concept.

Birmingham Erdington MP Paulette Hamilton said it was encouraging to see businesses choosing to invest in Birmingham: "The creation of new jobs at Fort Dunlop is a welcome boost for the local economy."

TXP offers digital transformation services to medium-sized businesses through IT consultancy, technology development and people resources.

The company works in public and private sectors, with clients including The Shipowners Club, Phoebus Software and Beko, the firm said.

Chief executive John Antunes said he hoped the firm's expansion would make "a real impact" on the business community in the region.
