CCTV is to be installed at public toilets in Fort William that have been repeatedly closed because of vandalism.

Highland Council is to spend £7,000 to repair the Viewforth toilets and have security cameras fitted so they can be reopened

Vandals targeted the site on numerous occasions last year, and the latest incident has shut the loos since November.

There have been wider problems with anti-social behaviour in Fort William, with under 18s banned from the town's McDonalds restaurant.
