Planning officials have recommended the approval of plans to build 1,500 new homes to expand a Leicestershire town.
The extension to Earl Shilton is proposed for 104 acres of land off Clickers Lane, along with a new school, community hub, shops and employment land.
A decision on whether or not to grant planning permission will be made by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council on Tuesday, the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) said.
The scheme, known as the Earl Shilton Sustainable Urban Extension, has been proposed by Bloor Homes, Jelson Homes and Barwood Land.
Three developers have made the applications for the site
If the plans are approved, access to the site will be created from the A47, Mill Lane and Astley Road.
The scheme has been split into two planning applications and have received more than 40 objections, according to the LDRS.
A total of almost £22m has been negotiated from the developers as a contribution to local services and facilities, including the building of the new primary school.
