Woman killed at London bus stop named
Chithra Vanmeeganathan, 46, died at the scene of the collision on Bessborough Road

A woman killed in a crash at a bus stop in north-west London has been named by police as Chithra Vanmeeganathan.
The 46-year-old from Wembley died at the scene of the collision on Bessborough Road, Harrow, at around 21:20 GMT on Monday. Her family has been informed, police said.
Two other pedestrians, a 12-year-old boy and a woman in her 30s, were taken to hospital for treatment with non life-changing injuries following the collision between a bus and a car.
The driver of the car, who stopped at the scene, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has since been released on bail.

Det Sgt Paul Jackson said: "Our thoughts remain with Chithra's family at this difficult time.
"The investigation into this tragic incident is ongoing, and we are continuing to appeal for anyone with footage of the incident, including from a doorbell camera or dashcam, or anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward."
