Family pays tribute to 18-year-old crash victim

Mr Bennett's family said he was a "constant support" to his siblings

An 18-year-old man who died in a crash in the Peak District has been named by police.

Luca Bennett died at the scene after his VW Polo hit a tree in The Dale in Stoney Middleton, Derbyshire, in the early hours of Saturday.

Officers have appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage of the crash.

In a statement issued through Derbyshire Police, the teenager's family described him as "the light in our house".

They said: "His warm heart, infectious smile and his love of life brought joy to everyone who met him.

"Luca was loved and adored, but the love he gave back to everyone around him was unmatched."
