Two arrested after man dies from serious injuries

Two people have been arrested after the death of a man found seriously injured in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police said a 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder following the incident in Kings Norton.

The victim, in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene after being found with serious injuries in Medway Grove on Tuesday morning.

Police said a cordon was likely to stay in place for a number of hours and that officers would remain at the scene as enquiries continued.

The man and woman remained in custody for questioning, police said on Wednesday evening.

Police added they were carrying out door-to-door enquires and reviewing CCTV, and asked anyone with information to contact them.
