MSG announces new chief operations officer

Guernsey's specialist medical care provider has announced Alan Rimington as its new chief operations officer.
The operations expert started the role at Medical Specialist Group (MSG) on 10 February.
His wide-ranging career includes pharmaceutical manufacturing and consumer goods in Guernsey, Asia and Australia and leadership roles at Moonpig and Rubis.
Discussing his appointment, he said: "I am really excited to step into the role of chief operations officer at the Medical Specialist Group, a change driven by my belief in the importance of health and well-being."
He added: "My vision is to encourage innovation, improve operational efficiencies, and ensure everyone at the MSG has the resources and support they need to excel in their roles and continue delivering outstanding care to islanders."
MSG chair Dr Steve Evans said: ''We're delighted to have appointed Alan to this role.
"He brings with him extensive operational experience and we're excited about the future potential for the MSG and for our patients, who are at the heart of everything we do."
