Road reopens after car crashes into pizza shop

A road that had been closed by police after a car crashed into a pizza shop has reopened.

Gloucester Police said a Skoda crashed into the Caprinos Pizza building in London Road, Gloucester, at about 14:10 BST.

The driver and passenger of the car did not suffer any serious injuries and three men who were in the pizza shop at the time were also unharmed, officers said.

London Road reopened to motorists at about 18:00. However, the pavement outside the pizza shop remains closed to pedestrians.
