Shrewsbury's market has been named Britain’s favourite in a public vote, for the second year running.
Thousands voted to see it crowned by the National Association of British Market Authorities.
Nearby Oswestry Market was highly commended as part of the indoors category.
The market hall is run jointly by Shropshire Council and Shrewsbury Town Council.

The market with its clock tower has been part of the Shrewsbury skyline since the 1960s
Shropshire Council facilities manager Kate Gittins said news of winning the top spot came as a surprise.
“It comes as a complete shock as there’s usually some indication if you are in the running but there was absolutely nothing this year," she said.
Ms Gittins thanked stallholders and customers and said she was immensely proud.
Mike Cox, outdoor recreation and leisure manager for Shrewsbury Town Council, added: "This award is a recognition of the hard work by all concerned."

People on the market have been celebrating its success
