Man who paid woman to lick boots given police order

A man who paid women to let him cut their hair and asked them to lick his boots has been made the subject of a sexual risk order.
Cambridgeshire Police said the man, who is in his 30s, came to the force's attention after he repeatedly solicited sex in Peterborough city centre.
In 2015 the man received a conditional caution for soliciting prostitution.
PC Sam Holliday, from the force, said: “His persistent behaviour has resulted in him being issued community protection warnings and notices, banning him from the area during the evening and through the night."
Officers said the man, who is from Peterborough, was seen repeatedly soliciting sex in the city centre and was displaying “very concerning and escalating” behaviour.
They added that despite his 2015 caution he continued to frequent the city centre in the company of female sex workers.
Vulnerable women
Mr Holliday added: “We know many of these women are vulnerable for a variety of reasons, the man’s behaviour has become increasingly concerning and we believe he is a risk to the women who have put up with the behaviour in return for payment.”
The force said that on one occasion the man met with a woman and took her to a petrol station where he made her lick his boots in front of people while he stood on her hands.
Police said he also paid a large amount of money to a woman to be able to cut her hair.
Mr Holliday added: "Our concern is this will eventually end up in a serious incident being reported to us, which is why we have taken action to implement a sexual risk order.”
The order bans the man from entering a specified area of Peterborough city centre between 7pm and 7am for the next two years.
Failure to comply with the order could lead to arrest, which could result in imprisonment of up to five years.
