Man hit by car during fight in Jersey - police

A man has allegedly been hit by a car during a fight in Jersey, police say.

Jersey Police said three men were seen fighting in and around a silver Audi estate car at about 07:30 BST on Sunday in the area of the junction of Lower Kings Cliff and Queen’s Road in St Helier.

During the altercation, one of the men got into the car and drove off, allegedly hitting another man in the process, officers said.

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone who had information about the incident to contact them, external.

The force said no serious injuries were sustained during the incident but one man did become aggressive when police arrived.

The man was arrested for disorderly conduct and had since been released on police bail, officers said.
