Man, 83, dies after crash that closed motorway

A closure was in place on the westbound carriageway of the M4 following a crash, police said

An 83-year-old man has died following a crash on the M4 in south Wales.
Police said they were called out to reports of a crash on the westbound carriageway between Pyle, Bridgend, and Margam, Neath Port Talbot, at about 11:30 GMT on Monday.
The 83-year-old man, who was driving a white Ford Fiesta, was pronounced dead at the scene.
South Wales Police said it was investigating the crash, which closed the motorway.
