Detectives have launched a CCTV appeal after a shopkeeper was threatened with a knife.

Police said the staff member was approached by a group of young men in Nottingham Road, New Basford, Nottingham, at about 18:00 GMT on 1 February.

The force said the men approached the store, close to the junction with Egypt Street, and brandished a knife after a dispute before leaving the area.

Nottinghamshire Police has released CCTV images of a number of men who could help them with their inquiries.

A police spokesperson said: "We understand that the CCTV images are not of the best quality, but we are hoping that someone will recognise the young men due to their clothing."
