Motorcyclist dies after crash with two cars

A motorcyclist died following a crash with two cars on Wednesday.
The 53-year-old man from Peterborough was riding a black Kawasaki at about 16:50 BST when he was involved in a collision with a silver Ford Focus, and then a blue Mazda CX-3, on the A1198, Papworth Everard bypass.
The motorcyclist died at the scene.
The drivers of the cars were not seriously injured, remained at the scene and are assisting officers with the investigation, Cambridgeshire Police said.
The A1198 between the Ermine Street South roundabout and the A1198 St Ives Road roundabout was closed in both directions for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, has dashcam footage, or believes they saw the vehicles in the build-up to what happened have been asked to contact the police.
