Police release pair over holiday park lake death

Police have released two murder suspects while they investigate the death of a man who was found in a lake at a holiday park.
Detectives were called to Warmwell Holiday Park near Crossways, Dorset, shortly before 00:30 BST on Sunday.
The victim, in his 70s from Birmingham, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man and a woman, aged in their 50s and also from Birmingham, have been released from custody but remain under investigation, police said.
The woman is also suspected of perverting the course of justice.
The arrested pair and the man are known to each other, police previously said.
Det Insp Shaun Inkpen said: “This remains an ongoing investigation and we are continuing to explore a number of lines of inquiry.
“I would again urge anyone who witnessed or heard anything suspicious in the area during the evening of Saturday 22 June into the early hours of Sunday 23 June 2024 to please contact us.”
