Man found in water after search operation at lake

A man who went missing from a motorboat has been found after a search operation at a lake.
The coastguard led the search of Derwentwater in Cumbria after the alarm was raised at 01:40 BST.
Cumbria Police confirmed the man had been found in the water and taken to Cumberland Infirmary.
A spokesman for the force could not confirm his condition.
The alarm was raised after an empty motorboat was spotted on the lake.
The police spokesman added that a crew from Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service was also involved, as well as coastguard teams from Burgh by Sand, Maryport and Whitehaven.
