Kaiser Chiefs to headline historic castle festival
- Published
Kaiser Chiefs are the latest act to be announced to perform at a music festival in Kent.
Rochester Castle Live will take place on three consecutive days in the grounds of the medieval castle.
The indie rock band will headline on 5 July, with Eternal topping the bill on 6 July, and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell on 7 July.
An event organiser called it a "momentous weekend in this historical haven".
Kaiser Chiefs are festival regulars, renowned for their chart-topping hits, including I Predict a Riot and Ruby.
Other acts to perform over the weekend include B*Witched, Rozalla, Phats & Small and Maxi Priest.
A spokesperson for the event organisers, The Festival Crowd, said they were "thrilled to showcase an impressive portfolio of festival brands to Rochester Castle Live".
Nile Rogers & Chic, Soft Cell and Sugababes all headlined at the 12th Century castle in 2023.
