A pedestrian has been seriously injured in a crash involving a delivery van.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Church Lane in Walberton, near Arundel, shortly before 14:30 GMT on Tuesday.

A 75-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, Sussex Police said.

The van, a Fiat Ducato, was being driven by a 38-year-old man, who was uninjured.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash and urged anyone with information to contact them.
