A dental surgery that suffered damaged as the result of a fire has begun offering appointments at an alternative premises in the South of the Isle of Man.

Manx Care said Port Erin Dental Practice has relocated to 12 Malew Street in Castletown as a "temporary solution".

Following the blaze in July appointments at the practice's usual facilities were cancelled, with patients directed to The Square Dental Practice in Douglas.

The island's health care body said the new Castletown location would be used until the Port Erin office had been refurbished, but it was "uncertain at this time how long that will take".

Patients who had been booked to attend appointments in Douglas are set to be contacted directly about the change in location.

Contact details for the Port Erin Dental Practice remain unchanged.
