Boat and trailer fire tackled by crews on A30

Fire crews have tackled a boat and trailer blaze on the A30 in Cornwall.

Firefighters were called to the incident near Temple at 12:59 BST. Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said it had sent two fire engines.

The service said: "On arrival the crews found the boat and trailer had been unhitched from the vehicle and were stationary in a layby.

"The boat and trailer were well alight and crews used two sets of breathing and hose reels to extinguish the fire."

The fire service added the cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
