Man arrested after Pride flag 'dumped in bin'
Police officers said they were treating the theft of a Pride flag and a Royal Naval flag as a "hate-related incident"

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft after a Pride flag was dumped in a bin in Devon in what is being treated as a hate-related incident, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said a Pride flag and a Royal Naval flag were stolen from the Oxford Street area of Dartmouth between 23:20 BST on 9 June and 10:40 BST on 10 June.
The force said both flags had since been recovered and officers were treating the theft as a hate-related incident.
It said the investigation was ongoing and asked people "not to speculate about this matter".
The flags had been flying outside the offices of the Dart Harbour & Navigation Authority, which previously said the incident showed "how important" Pride month was, adding: "Please join Dartmouth Pride in celebrating that all are equal. #lovewins."
