House fire believed to be arson - police

A house fire that broke out in Bradford at the weekend is believed to have been started deliberately, police said.

The blaze at a property on Sandfield Road is believed to have started at about 18:30 BST on Sunday, West Yorkshire Police said. No one is thought to have been injured.

The force said: "Further inquiries are ongoing today into the incident, which is being treated as arson and is being investigated by Bradford CID."

Officers appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
