Plans have been submitted to build 15 new homes in Burgh Le Marsh.

Planning permission was already granted to build four detached and three semi-detached houses off Skegness Road, but the plans have since been revised adding additional homes to the development.

The application from Burgh Pastures Limited said the development will be “in keeping with the character of the locality”.

The revised housing plans submitted to East Lindsey District Council show the houses would be located on the southeast corner of the plot and to the north of the field facing Ingoldmells Road.

According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, Burgh Pastures Limited was granted planning permission in May 2022 to build four detached and three semi-detached houses alongside a separate permission for a single house facing Skegness Road. An access road would be created and two wildlife ponds off Skegness Road.

The applicant said all the homes will have a different design and described the site as an appropriate location in its supporting statement.

“The proposal will have no adverse amenity impacts and will be in keeping with the character of the locality,” they said.
