Police trying to find the family of a man killed on London Underground tracks have asked for help from people in London and Cornwall, where he was known to have lived.

Officers were called early on 3 September to a section of rails near Edgware Underground Station where Rizwan Ahmeed, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious but police have been unable to find his next of kin.

Mr Ahmeed, who had short black hair and a beard, was a Pakistani national who had lived in both London and Newquay, on the north coast of Cornwall.

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police (BTP) by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 93 of 3 September.
