Hospital appointments postponed due to IT issues

Some appointments have been postponed at Derriford Hospital after computer problems, health bosses have said.

University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust said network issues at the site required "several essential upgrades over the last two days".

A spokesperson said the hospital had continued to care for patients but due to the "technical requirements" for some treatments, a "small amount" of appointments had been rescheduled.

All patients affected have been contacted and an apology has been issued, the spokesperson said.
