Floral tributes have been left at a lake where a body was found in the search for a missing 16-year-old boy.
The emergency services began searching Burnside Lakes, in the Cherry Hinton area of Cambridge, on Monday evening after reports a boy had got into difficulty in the water.
Police said a body was recovered at about 13:00 BST on Tuesday believed to be that of the missing boy who was from Essex.
His family has been informed and floral tributes have been pictured at the lakes following the incident.

Local residents left flowers and a message for the teenage boy

Specialist teams were called to the scene to assist in the search for the teenager
One message written on one of the tributes from local residents in the area read: "RIP. A young soul gone forever.
"Our thoughts and prayers."

Formal identification of the body is due to take place but the boy's family has been informed
The boy was believed to have been swimming in the lakes with friends before getting into difficulty.
A search for him began at 17:30 on Monday with specialist underwater teams from Nottinghamshire brought in.
A police spokesperson previously said formal identification of the body was yet to take place.

There was a heavy police presence in the area while investigations were ongoing
