A man has been arrested in connection with a crash in which a car hit the front window of a restaurant.
Kent Police responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision in Northdown Road, Margate, at 00:13 BST on Sunday.
A 38-year-old man was arrested and later released on bail pending further enquiries.
A social media post from the TY-8 restaurant said it would be closed until further notice.
A cordon was put in place following the crash over concerns about a possible gas leak.
Images shared by the restaurant show two cars outside the premises, one of them having broken a large front window.
The restaurant said on its Facebook page : "Thank you for your condolences. Our family is safe and unharmed."
