The petrol station would replace the former forecourt in Tern Hill

  • Published

Plans to replace a petrol station that closed almost six years ago have been put forward.

The Adastra forecourt would be located on the A41 in Tern Hill, near Market Drayton, Shropshire, and replace the former station that closed there in July 2019.

It would include six spaces for vehicles to refuel, as well as four charging points for electric vehicles.

According to the plans submitted to Shropshire Council by Singh Kawr and Baltinder Kalvinder, access to the site would be from the existing two-way lanes off the A41.

They also said the existing sign would be repainted and redecorated after a tenant for the petrol station was appointed.

This news was gathered by the Local Democracy Reporting Service, which covers councils and other public service organisations.
