A Leicestershire woman's dream of visiting the UK's codebreaking headquarters has come true at the age of 93.
Moat House Care Home in Hinckley made the trip to Bletchley Park possible for resident June Cole through its in-house "Make A Wish Program".
Ms Cole's visit included a comprehensive tour of the grounds, giving her the opportunity to see first-hand the machines and documents that contributed to the Allied war effort.
The resident, from Burbage, who has long been fascinated by Bletchley Park’s pivotal role in World War Two codebreaking, said she was "thrilled" to finally set foot in the famous location.
Ms Cole, who was eight when war broke out in 1939, said: “It was an incredible experience to visit Bletchley Park.
“Seeing the war memorabilia and artefacts brought back so many memories and made me feel connected to an important part of our history. I wish I had more time to see everything."
Funding for Moat House's Make A Wish Program is raised through events such as raffles and summer fetes, and the cash made is then matched by the owner of the firm that runs the home, Adept Care Homes, according to a spokesperson.
Paul Bundyford, the home manager, said: "We are delighted to have made this meaningful visit possible, and we are committed to continuing to create unforgettable experiences for all our residents."
