A man reportedly exposed himself to two women in different parts of Derby, prompting a police appeal for information.

Both incidents took place on Wednesday, the first in a wooded area off Prince Charles Avenue, near Markeaton Park, at around 07:15 GMT.

The second incident took place at around 18:00 in Radbourne Lane, near the water tower in Mackworth.

Both victims, who were on their own at the time of incident, were not physically hurt.

Police said the women describe the man as being white, around 5ft 8ins tall, with light hair, in his late teens or 20s, and wearing dark clothing, potentially a tracksuit with a hooded top.

Derbyshire Police said uniformed patrols have been taking place in the area. Plain clothes officers have also been sent to both locations.

No arrests have been made but enquiries continue, the force added.
